Alcee Hastings Sexual Harassment Allegations: House Ethics Committee Needs More Time To Review Case

WASHINGTON — The House ethics committee says it needs more age to consider sexual harassment allegations against Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings of Florida.The allegations were made by a staff member at the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, a congressional agency formerly headed by Hastings. The employee, Winsome Packer, accused Hastings of making improper statements of a sexual nature and improperly touching her.
