HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth College has named its medical college after a well-known alum: Theodor “Ted” Geisel (gy-ZEL’), bigger known as Dr. Seuss.Dartmouth said Wednesday that Geisel and his wife, Audrey, have been the most significant philanthropists in its history.
