David Netto, a former design consultant for stroller maker Maclaren USA, is suing his ancient boss CEO Farzad Rastegar for fraud. On June 12, Netto filed a complaint in federal district court in southern Fresh York demanding that Rastegar pay him $1.11 million he said Rastegar owes him for Maclaren USA’s 2009 acquire of NettoCollection, as well as punitive hurts and legal fees.Maclaren USA, a privately owned stroller corporation, quietly declared bankruptcy in Connecticut at the end December. This was roughly two years after its November 2009 recall of 1 million strollers. A total of 20 children’s fingers had been amputated by such strollers.
