June 14, 2012

Matt Cain’s bid for perfection was nearly halted in the seventh inning when Astros center fielder Jordan Schafer launched a pitch deep into the gap in fair-center field at AT&T Park. However San Francisco’s fair fielder Gregor Blanco was there to save the night. Blanco sprinted back toward the wall, reached outside with his fair arm and made a diving catch.
