Mike Nichols won the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play, for his revival of Arthur Miller’s “Death Of A Salesman” Sunday night. Nichols teared up while thanking the all-star cast of his revival, which includes Philip Seymour Hoffman and Andrew Garfield.
