Rajon Rondo Injured On Flagrant Foul: Celtics Star Leveled By Linas Kleiza Of Raptors (VIDEO)

BOSTON (AP) — Celtics mark guard Rajon Rondo injured his fair wrist when he was leveled on a flagrant foul by Toronto’s Linas Kleiza on Wednesday night.
Rondo was driving for a layup with 2:12 left in the third quarter when he was hit dense by Kleiza, who came down dense with his left arm and knocked Rondo to the floor. Rondo landed awkwardly on his back with his fair palm and wrist getting crunched in between his body and the court.
Rondo remained in the game extended enough to constitute one of his two foul shots, then walked slowly toward the locker room. The Celtics announced he had a sore fair wrist and his giveback was questionable.
