The human beings at Giga Netwerkz have built a mockup of what they believe an “iPhone 5″ device will gaze like. Apple may announce a fresh iPhone on October 4, and speculation seems to be split over whether it the device will be called the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4S, or whether Apple will announce both devices simultaneously.
According to a advertise on Giga’s website, the fresh iPhone will be slightly wider than its predecessor with a screen that goes clear to the edge of the telephone. Based on iPhone 5 cases that were seen by M.I.C. Gadget, the telephone may also be taller than the contemporary iPhone 4. Many seem to assent that it will be thinner, with a teardrop shape that slims perceptibly at the bottom. Giga’s mockup indicates that Apple will dispense with the glass back of the iPhone 4 and giveback to the aluminum back of the original iPhone. This is supported by leaked iPhone 5 condition photos that were published by Mashable.
Another physical alter could be to the House button. According to Giga’s mockup, the circular button could become an oval, which will employment more like the touchscreen. “There have been numerous rumors that Apple is moving away from the mechanical to a capacitive button that reacts to a blaze touch,” Giga writes on their site. The thought of an elongated house button is supported by leaked screen protectors, which can be seen on MacRumors website.
Whatever the aesthetic differences, they are likely to be slight. On October 1, 9to5Mac spotted details about an iPhone 4S device buried inside the most recent iTunes developer beta. The data also includes a picture of what could be the upcoming device, and it looks more or less identical to the Verizon iPhone 4, reports 9to5Mac.
Other rumors about the iPhone 4S indicate that the device will be a cheaper version of its predecessor. A fresh iPhone may also feature a quicker processor and may come with voice recognition technology.
We’ll soon know which speculation was closest to the mark: Apple is gearing up for its official iPhone event on Tuesday October 4.
